Butter Garlic & Lemon Prawns
If you are ever planning to bring your loved ones over for dinner some night and he/she is fond of seafood, then my friend, this is the perfect dish that you should cook for your better half. The name itself excites the taste buds and it gives you much more than just what it states.
The prawns are cooked in a simple yet elegant and fresh ingredients and then barbecued to give it that slightly charred taste.
With every bite you get a mouthfull of butter followed by the slight sweetness from the fresh prawns and sourness of the lemons as the aroma of oregano and thyme fills your nostrils. The garlic and chilly flakes are like the perfect taste enhancers and garlic specially goes brilliantly with the prawns.
However remember when you cook this dish, there is always a tendency to overcook prawns as they cook very quickly. So just follow the steps and everything should be perfect.
I had called my better-half home for a seafood dinner on occasion of her birthday and this is one of the dishes that I had served up to her. Even I was trying it out for the first time and was skeptical as I didn't want anything to go wrong with the dish. Thankfully the dish turned out to be a lip smacking success and the whole plate was mopped clean with no leftovers. There were just a mouthfull of "this is too good" with every bite of prawns :p
I had served the Butter Garlic & Lemon Prawns with a side of Prawns head and chicken soup the recipe for which I'll be sharing later on this blog. You can serve the prawns with some honey mustard mayo as it goes extremely well with it or plain mayo incase you don't have honey mustard mayo or you can just gobble it down without any sauces :p
Anyways, enough talk, now you should try it yourself and share the dish's warmth and love with your loved ones. :)

- Place the prawns in a bowl and add all the marination ingredients to it.

- You can use either a coal barbecue or an electric barbecue. Dab the prawns with some olive oil and barbecue prawns over the barbecue once its hot.
- Turn it after 3 to 4 mins to its other side and let it cook for another 4 to 5 mins. (Prawns get cooked pretty fast so we don't need to cook it for too long or it might get overcooked)
